Taiwan Comic 01
Okay, I drew a little comic strip about taking the trash out in Taiwan. It was a joint effort with 'Taffy' from Forumosa for the writing. It was going to be in his 'Taiwanease Magazine' but was cut due to a space crunch - DAMMIT!
Anyway here it is - tell me what you think!

it's worse for us Europeans. that music is Für Elise and hearing it coming from a garbage truck REALLY messes you up!

Yeah - I thought it was pretty odd myself since I knew the song. I think my dad gave my grandma a music box with that song, in Taiwan they might take it as an insult or something, haha.

They say they chose Fur Elise is because the daughter of the minister of the Department Health then had been practicing playing it. Well..not sure. But why would they wanna play music? Cuz people missed the garbage trucks quite often so they dicided use the music to remind them that it's time to take out the trash.
Now some trucks even teach English. Yeah, they have "the sentence for the week". Isn't it good you can learn some English while taking the garbage out. Give and take, nice.
By the way, we don't take the song as an isult.

Lols,Thats very arguing here.
we just think it can remind people of taking trash out.
we think it in a different way.
when you are waiting for the trash car and you can appreciate the faomue music in the world.why not?haha
